UAE attestation is the procedure by which documentation from India is certified so that they can be used in the United Arab Emirates. In contrast to an apostille that is valid in all the Hague convention countries, UAE attestation implies that documents first be authenticated by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in India and then be attested by the UAE Embassy or Consulate.
